Certified Nursery Professionals-NCNLP
The Nebraska Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional program was established to promote the professionalism of individuals within our industry. A rigorous three-part test, which covers plant identification, landscape, and the NCNLP manual, must be successfully completed. NCNLP testing takes place at least once a year. Manuals may be purchased online or through the NNLA office (402) 381-7154.
To retain the NCNLP status, 5.0 hours of continuing education must be completed every year. Renewal notices are sent out in the fall. Continuing education includes attendance at the NNLA Winter Conference, Nebraska Eastern Summer Field Day, Nebraska Western Summer Field Day, NNLA Workshops, the Western Conference, or other national events.
